Street Science Drop-In Lab = Bouncy Balls!
10:30 am – 12:30 pm OR 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
In this drop-in workshop, junior scientists will be bouncing with enthusiasm as they explore the states of change in the physical properties of everyday materials. Using Polyvinyl acetate powder (PVA), it’s a hands-on experience of science as they create glow-in-the-dark bouncy balls.

This workshop will see children complete a guided hands-on investigation, expanding their knowledge of processed materials. Kids will mix various chemicals to produce a number of amazing polymer worms! Most suited for children aged 5-12 years.
Rockets Workshop – bookings may be required.
In this workshop participants will make and create their own min-rocket and will learn about push / pull forces and Newton’s laws of physics. The participants will also get to take their rocket home along with a bag of CO2 ‘rocket fuel’ so they can blast their rocket into space (or their backyards).
